HI All

I have a peugeot boxer 2.8 2003 with a fiat 2.8JTD engine (apparently)

It doesn't have glo plugs but a cold start unit. However this isn't functioning correctly. The engine fires up fine when the engine or ambient temp is warm, but when cold it just turns.

Im looking for the wiring diagram so I can trace what happens and whats not working. Sensor, solenoid, relay etc.

Any help is much appreciate.

Thanks in advance.

Mark

The cold start valve on common rail engines only activates at sub zero temperatures. The engine relies on high crank speed, efficient fuel atomisation and compression to achieve the cylinder temperature required for ignition.
keep well,

Hi torq.

Thanks for your response. Well, it definitely doesn't need to be sub zero before it stops starting, may be a couple of degrees above.
