car starts fine but cuts out when hot any ideas

Overheating at a guess!!

Is the coolant system ok, do you have enough water?
Does your fan kick in when the car gets hot?
Do you get a warning light on the dash?
Can you restart it easily after it cuts out?

or a lambda issue if its having problems only on hot(in normal temps)runnig
