Technical problems replacing fuel filter Punto 55. 1996

I have a leaking fuel filter and I´m trying to remove the old one. It´s just that can´t seem to loosen the plastic fittings between the filter and the hose. I don´t want to force the pieces apart.
Is there a particular way to detach this?

Squeeze the two clips and before pulling the filter away from the pipe push the filter towards the pipe then try to detatch it. When fitting the new filter make sure its pushed home you may hear a small click but will feel it when fitted properly. Hope this helps
