it may have caused today problem....

I was reversing the car into my drive way as usual, then suddenly.... the engine switch off by itself!!!  I have no idea why this happen....

What the hell is going on?? Anyone else experience engine switch off itself????

Were you able to restart it? Sounds like an immediate trip to the dealer is needed for a diagnostic check. Fuel Pump? (Scratches head). Engines switching themselves off can be lethal on the road. :(

hmm... maybe i didnt expain clearly, the noise i can hear when i step on the gas pedal is like "shake a bottle with half full water" and the noise clearly comes from the fuel tank. Therefore i dare not to step on the pedal too much...:yuck:

I got my annual service next month, maybe i will wait till then.... If the engine switch off one more time then i will go immediately!!

Hi there,
as far as I know, the engine is switched off in case of no fuel pressure. This is to prevent the high-pressure fuel-pump (in the engine compartment) from damage. It seems that there is a problem with your low-pressure fuel-pump in the fuel tank.
