sorry took so long to reply £280 was because its a turbo diesel and apparently its very rare to get one. BS i think! that would be old gearbox out and new one supllied and fitted.

If you change the whole box then its pretty safe that the problem will go away, without looking at it myself like.

I know what you mean, and i am willing of doing it, but because im a student i dnt hav much cash flow, so I'm tryin to save a bit of dosh by seeing if i can just replace the bit itself.
