Technical Problem!

i have a Fiat Tipo 1.4 butt i have a little problem:

my battery lamb stays on, and a garage kost just to much!
what can be the problem?

More than likey the alternator is faulty, but you need to check the main live wire to the battery from the alternator.

Might sound stupid but on the ie’s the polly-vee belt can slip without making noise could be worth a look.
This can also be a problem with the brushes or the rectifier in the alternator, it can still show up in reconditioned units so be careful if you are getting it reconditioned or an exchange unit.
I have seen some units run and charge for a long time with the light coming on.
