hi guys i have a 1.2 punto mia and i have a problem.When i went to start it the other day it struggled to turn over but it did in the end i then turned it off and tried again and it wouldnt start.I have had the starter motor checked and its fine ive got a brand new battery on and the earth wires have been checked also the battery light isnt comming on so i assume its not the alternator any ideas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.Ps when i first put the new batt on it was fine first few times i started it then the crap continued.:bang:

Yep. For all that, I'd still suspect the earth connection(s) either from battery to earth, or the main earth from the passenger side inner wing to gearbox selector. It's not enough to see that they're there -- physically remove them, clean them up at both ends, smear with vaseline and replace.
If the engine is turning over, but there's no fuel past the injector and no spark it'll be the TDC sensor.
