Price on alloy locking nuts

As above... what price would you put on a full set of alloy locking nuts for the punto. Would a fiat dealer charge more than other shops?

Brio catalogue says £12.85 for Punto locking nuts.

You only really need 4 - one for each wheel. The other three can be plain nuts and bolts.

Not to mention annoying when you have a flat and have to unlock them all

it not worth it if someone realy wants to nick your wheels they will have the tools to whip of your lock nuts anyway.

Why get them from either? My local independent alloy wheel specialist turned out to be cheapest in the end .

My mate got a set of alloys from a place in one of the modified mags and it came with 16 locking nuts, with no extra charge.

quick word of warning with these cheapest is not nescicerrily best(not spelt right i know) i did the brakes on a friends car and some w*nker had done up the locking wheel nuts too tight and the tool wouldnt remove them cos they where cheap ones i ended up spending 2 days drilling them off- not fun.

so buy the best you can afford and ensure they are put on properly and not done up too tight as alloy and steel corrode when placed together and wont come apart with feeble alloy wheel tools............
