Let's put this in perspective for a second, getting a 'joke' sentence for dealing cannabis which is pretty much harmless versus the short sentences handed out for rape, murder, burglary, etc etc. Maybe get worked up about something that actually matters, yeah?

How to solve the overcrowding in prisions => mass execution of all the rapists and murderes, that should do the trick

I think it's an entirely reasonable sentence that reflects how pointless the whole war on drugs is. He makes an entirely reasonable point that the real issues are not the drug but the culture of criminality that comes with it because its illegal.

That said I still think the judge is going chuck him inside when he shows up with an essay like that.
