Hi, if anyone's still looking into this, count me in. I've now got a car that is definitely NOT watertight. Since it lives outside, in Northern Ireland & gets used every day, I'm getting a bit p o'd driving with a wet rear end (mine, not the car's).
And while I'm here, does about £70 per piece sound right for the hood rubbers please? That's what the local Fiat garage is quoting.

I have one rubber on order from. Thought I would get them one at a time due to the expense. Don't know why someone hasn't manufactured a cheaper alternative?

as for replacement rubbers, if someone knows a sweatshop in a far away far-eastern country that would make them for a fraction of the new...
or maybe if we could place a joint order somewhere...?

Yeah, bit of grease/Vaseline is good round the seals – that is what is helping my drivers side from getting damp. I just don't understand how rubber strips can cost that much to produce?

New ones seem a lot better at cutting wind noise as well (unless you regulary eat the jumbo beanburger in the car)..The Fiat price is daylight robbery.
