porn is not culture.....

Porn is a part of culture; of course it is. Different countries have different approaches to porn - so it reflects national preferences.

Anyway: define culture. Personally, i reach for my revolver :D

i love a good bit of porn and it is cultural
lol that honesty made me laugh quite a bit. I only clicked this thread because it said porn...

The bad side of porn and attitude towards porn for today's new generations is that now our countries are way more accepting towards sexiness and bearing "more" flesh etc... new generations of kids are growing up wearing clothes that are directed towards being older and being sexy.
The problem caused now is how 5 year old girls want to wear short skirts with bra's and low tops, and 5 year old boys knowing more than what i did when i was 10!

O well... atleas our age of consent aint 12 like in the Philippines

Porn may be part of a country's culture, but is it Cultural? After 2,000 years or more, millions still flock to see the Parthenon, the Acropolis, the Colleseum, Stonehenge and countless other locations.

Although sex has been important to a culture (there wouldn't be any cultures without it) for longer than Opera or Architecture, I don't think that Bob's Books or Vic's Videos will feature on the tourist itinerary of most American or Japanese visitors.

In the short term would you like to rethink that statement. What about Amsterdam, Thailand and Eastern Europe?

Also what about the artistic culture behind porn with certain pieces fetching ££££
