Technical Popping noise coming from front passenger side

Over the past couple of days, nearer to the end of my journey (either to work, or on my way home; approx 50-minutes) the front left hand side seems to make a pop-noise. Like when you squeeze the air out of a plastic bottle, and over time it pops back into shape (though there’s only one single pop).

It doesn’t seem to matter whether I am driving on the motorway, or slowing down on a 30 mph road. This morning it happened while I was slowing down at some traffic lights.

I thought it could be my speakers, but this morning I didn’t have the radio on at all, to test this. Could this noise could be something to do with the car warming up, or could it be something else?

There is a noise that comes from the passenger side footwell when the brakes are used because the brake servo is located there, try working the brake to see if you can reproduce the sound it may be as simple as that.

Slightly OT, but been having the same happening in my Stilo over the last few days. I've personally put it down to the heat from the ventilation system making the Plastic dash expand/contract etc.

Not sure if I'm right though, or if it's likly to be the same for you.
