Auto Windows
My windows do close automatically... it was an extra £20 when I had the alarm fitted... Sunroof was an extra £200 so I didn't bother, but I like being able to leave the s/roof open when the car's locked anyway.
My old Tipo had windows that worked with the ignition off, but Fiat issued a recall about 5 years ago to re-wire the windows to only work with the ignition as it had been deemed dangerous and caused little kids to crush bones etc...
I would imagine that direct wiring the windows would be easy as mentioned above. Think the s/roof might be a bit more difficult though, the reason it was £200 as appose to £20 to add it to the alarm is because you have to deal with knowing when to stop (e.g. tilt-->closed-->slide) as this is controlled by the ECU which won't be on with the ignition off! (or so they told me)
Interestingly the other feature I wanted was Remote Start to warm the engine(and car) up before leaving the house on frosty mornings... it was £40 extra but cancelled the Thatcham approval so I didn't bother !
