General Please help....left keys in car!

Hey guys,

I need help as one of my mates has locekd my keys in my car, which is blockin all the other cars in and also has my other important keys on...

My spare key is at my other house in leeds, im 50 miles away, is there any way anyone knows of getting into a locked GP in these situations or am i gonna have to smash some glass an pay for new?

I would suggest breaking the window...not nice but if you have to do it you have to...good luck

is it in gear? if not get some help and pick up the back end and pull the car out of the way.

then go get your spare key. failing that, smash the smallest window and make sure your mate pays for it.

Do you have breakdown cover ?

The AA etc will help, alternatively it might be worth you contacting your local cop shop (NOT by calling 999)

That my friend is a quality idea...seems like the only one coz i really dont wanna have to smash the window...i've tried a lot of car lock breaking in techniques (none of which have worked)

So if one good thing has come out of this its that the GP is relatively hard to break in to.

Im off to be manly now and pick up a car!

Smash the wind screen, it will cost you less than the window!!! (thats if you have wind screen cover with your insurance of course.) :devil:

Lifting the back is a good idea - even easier if you have a trolley jack
