Just had someone phone from Pizza Hut, apparently I gave them a fake note for a pizza I ordered, didn't seem to listen when I said I didn't order a pizza, apparently they are going to 'send the cops'. I'm guessing they got the wrong number as they called from a London number and I live 150+ miles away .

They where getting rather worked up about it lol.

Like the police could ever be bothered to go and visit somebody over a pizza

Delivery units are franchises so maybe the owner was fed up about people doing it then got the wrong number

or a staff member who is out of pocket

They most likely would as someone was using fake money lol.

I'm guessing it was a wrong number, still made me laugh.

Its one of those wind up call things you see advertised in back of lads mags

Tell them too f*** off and stop calling.

Can't stand idiots like that can't take the hint.

Had some stupid foreign call centre calling all hours of the day trying to sell me time shares :bang:. 07:20am last sunday was the last call .

I've had a couple of cold callers lately, strangely only since I got my new number, within days of getting it they started, don't know if its connected to e2Save.

Had one phone up few days ago, didn't mean to pick up, put pressed answer by mistake...women asked for Kieran (not me, but went along with it), asked how I was, to which my reply was, 'fine until you phoned'...guess it wasn't on her script as she didn't have a clue what to say.

I think next time if they ask for me or someone, say hang on...get some porn up and start playing it down the phone.

Wonder if they'll know the music to 2 girls 1 cup

Of course the other one is, "Can I just stop you there?", and hang up. It has only ever failed once, when they rang me back and told me they had been cut off. My reply was a light and airy, "Yes that seems to happen when I put the phone down, goodbye." and hung up again.

I know these poor folks are only trying to earn a living, but they are not your mates and you will never speak to them again.

We get 10's of phone calls at work each day at work. They all ask for the manager as if they want some work done to get past our Admin. Then they try selling something.
Its a really bad practice because we could have put the phone down on genuine potential customers.
