Pioneer DEH-P7000UB

Hey,

Iv recently found a second hand Pioneer DEH-P7000UB for a good price but where its quite an old head unit im not sure if my iphone will work with it. Could anyone shine a light on this? I have checked the specs and it just says ipods 2005-2007 which doesnt help.

thats the cable for the ipod, I have no idea if the touches and the newer nanos are compatible, but that HU has an aux in, so you can just plug a jack into your Iphone, and then into the HU. but it won't charge, And it won't display on the HU what track is playing that way, etc - but music will play!

It will not be compatible with the iphone but there is a step down adaptor which tricks the HU into thinking its an older ipod. I have just thought of where i may have seen it. Give me a mo.

Cheers for the input danny but somehow i have broken my iphones jack so it can only be connected at the bottom which is a pain i know but theirs not much i can do about it

With the cable in my first post, your Iphone will work with the HU.
