I've always wanted a tat, but never seen anything that I thought I wanted on my body for the rest of my life. It's difficult, cos you have to avoid fashion and just go for something you really like.

id quite like a tribal type thing round my arm, but im **** scared of needles

1. It means forever (or to never forget)
2. Yes I do know this (1) for a fact
3. It was done in Harajuku in Tokyo
4. It took 40 minutes
5. No it didn't hurt
6. It cost £60 (eek!)
7. It's to remind me always of a wonderful time i had there and what the holiday meant to me / how it changed my life - so no, i won't ever regret it

Sorry, that was response to two people's different comments in one sentence, most confusing.
I quite like the various celtic knot designs, but I can't see any reason to get something that other people have. I am quite intrigued by a lot of Chinese philosophy, particularly I Ching - the book of change, but having something to symbolise that wouldn't necessarily reflect anything.
Obviously if I were to get a tattoo it would be for myself not because of what someone else might think, but satisfying what I would think is appearing to be a major problem at the moment.

yeah, i just like the whole flame thing, especially on muscle cars etc, just looks cool no matter what !
