Technical Phantom foglight switch

I've noticed that sometimes the rear foglamp switch glows when I put the brakes on.

It only does it if the lights are on and I brake. It doesn't do it if the lights are not on.

I know the switcheds light up if the tail-lamp or stop-lamp bulb(s) are blown.. but mine all work fine, even when the foglamp switch is in a glowing mood.

It's only recently started doing it.

Anyone have any ideas? All the electrics/lights/bulbs work as they should.

Hi mate,

Almost definately sounds like a dodgy earth on the rear lights! I would start by removing the drivers side rear light with the fog light in it (if you have a UK car), and remove all the bulbs and connections and clean them up. Also check that the light is not full or water or such like.
