Avoid at all costs, worst dealer I have had to deal with after the now closed Currie Motors in Watford!

Clueless and will rip you off.

Re: Perrys in Aylesbury & warranty work elsewhere

Thanks for your advice!

How would another FIAT dealer react for warranty and servicing if the car was bought at Perrys?

Is the third year's warranty only from the supplying dealer?

Does anyone have experience of their servicing / workshops? (Good or bad!)
Complete Cowboys, Just bought a fiat panda dual-logic from them in under 300 miles the gearbox has seized and they refuse to refund or replace under the sales of goods act. This death-trap is a 57 plate, 3 weeks old and sat useless on my drive whilst i am paying a solicitor a fortune. Evil Nasty con merchants

Interesting replies. I bought my (1y/o) Doblo there a few months back & thought I would need to use them for the services.
I have to say that the spares department are useless. Went in there last week to buy a nut, one nut - the nut that holds the rear light cluster in place (it's used on a few models besides the Doblo) - and they had none in stock.
Just over a week later & I'm still awaiting the part coming in - that really is pi$$ poor service.
The guy admitted that due to the bad design people lose many of these nuts - yet they don't hold them in stock. How would it be if supermarkets allowed their stock items to drop to zero & keep customers waiting over a week for new stock to arrive?
I have complained to Fiat about the crap design whereby a strange looking nut holds the back lights in place & can only be accessed using the wheel brace or 17mm socket on extension bar - a consequence of which is that the nut is very easily lost into the nether regions of the bodywork - never to be seen again.

Why not try us out?? Souls Milton Keynes?

Worth considering for the pricey work (turn out the service light etc) but otherwise it's a 42 mile round trip & half hour each way?
A pity really - if we had a decent dealers somewhat nearer then the cowboys would have to buck their ideas up or fold.

Greetings Each,

Oops - I have ordered a Fiat Doblo 1.9 (120) Dynamic. I have seen one but I haven't managed to get a detailed look or drive one!

Yes I know - crazy eh! I looked at buying a Ford Tourneo Connect but it cost nearly £5K more than the Dobbie and I couldn't justify the difference to 'she who must be obeyed'. Besides, the Dobbie has a more powerful motor and can pull more. Anyway, I bought the vehicle for its utility and not for its looks - and the advantage is of course that no-one is ever going to steal it...:D

I ordered one from Perrys of Aylesbury before I found this site and thread. I shall let you know how the pruchase process went.

I just hope I havn't made a mistake in my choice.

Rgds
