I've been reading the Mckrich thread, everyone's hyper-happy with it. However as far as I can tell, this chip is for SPI engines only, am I right? Is there any similar solution for the 1.1 MPI engine? For the same price lol?

Yep SPI only, nothing springs to mind at the minute for an MPI unfortuneatly

Browsing through prev. threads there was a breif mention of something by JR racing? dont know if this bore fruit however, i didnt delve too deep into it.

The mckrich chip mainly helped to cure the SPI flatspot something which was eradicated on MPI seis, a small performance increase may have been gained but dont think that was its main objective?

If you want a small boost in performance get an MPI induction kit

Cheers Apple :) been looking into that, however it worries me the fact that one needs a good supply of cold air for the induction kit to make any difference if I understood how it works correctly, difficult to get (or to keep cold on transit to the admision) on such a small engine bay I'd reckon. But I'd definitely have a look into that. You see, I'm ****e with a spanner, but I can do electronics lol and mckrich's instructions looked very straightforward (chip on me ecu ain't soldered but socketed).

I haven't spent the best part of a week to get a proper map for the MPI to offer it for £40. Can offer it for £200 with rr before and after.
