I'm looking to upgrade my PC.
Not got a massive budget, only need M/B, CPU and memory.
I'm not a massive gamer. Only really play RTS games and sometime CS:S
I may as well get a 64 bit CPU as I'm upgrading now. My current PC is ancient compared to most PCs nowadays and it's only 3 years old.
AMD preferred, but will consider Intel if I must.
Just been doing a quick search on a few sites and so far I have this:
AMD Athlon 3200+ Socket 939 47.32
Asus A8R-MVP ATX Motherboard 54.58
Kingston 1GB kit (2x512) DDR400 68.58
Total 170.48 inc. VAT & Del.
A little more than I wanted to pay but that's the cheapest I could find those components. CPU was from Ebay and the motherboard/memory was from Ebuyer.
I tried a few other sites as well (Overclockers, Dabs, Misco, PC World) but they couldn't match those prices.
Sound reasonable?
