as title, sometimes when i accelerate (foot to the floor) the revs pause at about 3k and then go again, this doesnt always happen. the car is a jtd100 45k, just had the diesel filter, oil changed etc. any thoughts on what the prob could be?

many thanks gaz

TBH, I wouldn't think a slipping clutch would cause that.

Usually, if a clutch is slipping, power is down, but the revs rise quicker.

As a rule, problems around the 3k area are usually MAF/Lambda related, but probs worth getting a diag test done before you shell out any cash.
