Paper Tissues

Can anyone explain why people place a box of paper tissues in the middle of the rear parcel shelf with the optional addition of a pair of chintz / floral cushions.

as a kid i was eternally gratefully for them when i had a cold, sniffles, fast food, mucky hands, reach back onto the parcel shelf of my mums swedish tank and there was a box of generic bloke sized tissues!

I have both tissues and a cushion in my car, wisely hidden in the boot Plus the cushion was stolen, which adds a little class I think

My sister's got a hello kitty tissue cover over a box of tissues in the rear of her car, It is a bit silly now thinking about it!

OI, my box of tissues was there cos i had a cold and my kids put it on the back parcel shelf when they got in the car

I dont own any cushions in my car though

The other day I saw a estate car with a dog cage in the back, and pictures of some silly breed in the window, and dogs in transit stickers, obviously they were dog breeders. The reg plate was YE5 1 DOG, I could not stop laughing, I bet they cannot park in country laybys for long....
