General Panday 5! Mission: Yorkshire 7th & 8th September

Well despite being very proud of the yorkshire mud splattered panda look, the fear of rust overcome and I gave it a hose down underneath and turned my driveway into a flower bed. I've got pictures to keep me going till next time though :devil:

But thought best blow dry it and raced it up the road to get water out all the box sections....on the way back I noticed that the 4x4 light had come on by itself....hmmm odd.... nope the lever is down....********! Just checked and ball joint on the linkage has worked loose and also the typical plastic bit is too worn and cracked to re-use!

Also my rear tyre has gone down over night...I didn't think you could get a slow puncture with a tubed tyre?

Headlight bulb might be on the way out as required a tap to get it on (and was getting odd signals from people on the way back down on sunday night).

Anyway, all easy fixes so really proud of the car. She got a good rattling on the dales and a few knocks about in the mud as well so pretty good going really.

Looking for a local 4x4 club next :devil:

Will put up my pictures and videos when my mate gets them off his phone and video camera. Can't wait much longer though :devil:

I still haven't had time to do mine, I think it's due to rain tomorrow though so that'll help me out (!)

It might just be a thorn in your tyre if it's a slow, there are some spikey bushes down there

Was going to leave my Land Rover looking how it should, but I could hear the chassis dissolving everytime I walked past so I had to get the jetwash out!

Fab pics guys - there are many that were taken at the same places but there are also ones that were taken at different angles which is great, the scenery looks amazing aswell which alot of you don't see when you're looking out for rocks or the temp guage

Just go to the Panday gallery, click upload photos, and it will default to uploading them in that gallery.

OK, I finally got round to actually putting the video together. Probably got a but carried away, but I think an evening well spent.

I put some music over the beginning bits to drown out the sound of trim and rust falling off from the vibration. :devil: Also I included the mishaps of the end of day activities (I couldn't work out how to bleep my friend and I's profanities when the car conked out after a massive bang on her belly though ) but it was all part of the experience .
