Next Thoresby show's on the bank holiday 26th August. I'm on holiday for Mitcar and looking doubtful for the green lane weekend so thinking about heading down for this one again. Too late to pre book now but anyone else up for just rolling up on the day?

Odds are it was a blue Panda - it was 999cc anyway. I'm using the past tense as it was only on the road for 2 years, and has been unlicenced for the last 16. I guess it met a sorry end in year 2 - they didn't rot that quickly

Nailed it!! It was a blue panda pre-registered by the dealer when new. Bought from PDH Fiat in Worthing during the summer before I went to University in Marseille France. I was working in McDonald’s Worthing over the summer and this was my 18th birthday present.

Many happy memories of driving to Marseille and back several times.

Alas it met its end after an idiot (and annoyingly an old school friend) pulled out to turn right out of a petrol station on the Brighton road in South Croydon, and hit me fully on the driver side as I unsuspectingly drove past.

I carried on driving it whilst trying to figure out best way for him to pay for his crime. A bad idea as it happened because the car finally met its end in a 3mph crash on black ice. So evidently the car’s structural integrity had gone on the first crash.

Gone but not forgotten (I found this post whilst googling the reg!) here is a pic of me showing it to my nana after picking up the car.
