So guys ....where we all at on our Twinair mileage?

Reg , mileage and have you had any issues engine wise?

Still driving my 2012 Lounge , 71,000 only thing I've had go really wrong was the breaking of a clutch switch that affected stop/start.

Other issues were small , cosmetic . Nothing worth writing home about.

It's driven hard too . And daily.

My punto has been faultless for approaching 60k

Original brakes and battery

4 tyres.
1 blown drl bulb @45k of driving

Engine perfect (y)

Panda TA 21k

Poor running at halfwarm

A used purchase.. but no issues in 11k : two years

Camchain life is my longterm concern..

Lol....

Ok . Thinking back and potentially without the rose tinted specs my car hasn't been all that flawless when I compare to your history [emoji846]

My clucth went VERY early , I eat tyres and brake pads (driving style) and I replaced the coolant tank as the connecty part melted ... Funny what you push aside in your head isn't it lol.

What do you mean by poor running at half warm?

What do you mean by poor running at half warm?[/QUOTE]

If you had a 1980's car with a 'twin choke weber' .. you will recall the fuel evaporation poor running at low revs

The panda does that

Hot : perfect..
Stone cold : perfect

Drive for an hour.. leave for an hour.
It then splutters for 3 minutes until the coolant warms
It does it if started with 'one bar' showing on the temp gauge.. EVERY TIME..!!

you would think fuelling problem ..airlock maybe

Back in lockdown it had been parked for 7 days when I needed a trip to tesco

19:00 on a sunny day

Coolant had warmed with the sunshine.. one bar showing as I started it.. cough cough splutter for 3 minutes
Annoying .. :(

Well.. a little time has passed

Our 63 reg panda twinair now has amassed 28,500 on its speedo

Weve just had some 35'c weather..and its still messing around

Mpg indicated 60.1

Ran faultlessly 5am trip of 110 miles :)

Returning in the PM airtemp had warmed the coolant.. ran rough until warmed through.. only takes 2 minutes

Out with my new MES..

sensor feedbacks looked 'normal'..
all 22 to 24 degrees C

Stored errors of P300.301.302..all misfires (and one about airflow)

All now cleared..see what returns

At least my new MES licence is proving useful :)
