that how I read it but don't have any experience with the latter cars
seems like the 500 has had them fitted longer since 2010, tons of post 2010 500s on the road with High miles, a search through that section should give an indication of how long / well the DMF lasts.
changing it is going to push the repair up by £200-£300 just in parts. Which would be sad to spend if its not needed. Although the vast majority of a clutch kit change is labour, it would also be a shame to have to pay the labour twice
you don't have any of the symptoms of a bad DMF, rattle at idle and / or vibration through the gearstick
