General Panda rev Counter Query

Hey guys I just bought a Panda 1000CL 1991 and i would like to know if it is possible to fix a small rev counter in the panel where the watch is supplied in the 4x4 version. Is it possible to drill a whole the diameter of the rev counter or is it to small?? Im talkin about a 2 inch diameter counter not those huge once with enormous shift light...hahaha
