Yeah I think you're right (excluding the exotica) - in fact when the first BMW Mini's were bought waiting lists outstripped demand so people were buying them as investments. Suspect that now there's plenty around that's no longer the case, but Parkers suggests depreciation of around 50% in year 4 which is very strong indeed.
I hope that's not it - part of the appeal of the Panda was it's ultra-low running costs and putting silly sized wheels on is going to mean that's no longer going to be the case
I know it's yet another artists impression but this one seems to have more credibility as a progression of the current Panda design. Personally, I think the Panda will progress up-market within the range, bearing in mind that the new Topolino (below) will become FIAT's budget car for the masses....and a 3 door at that, like the original Panda!
