General Panda Questions

There are three common places I'm aware of for the speakers:

on the rear parcel shelf.
the side trim either side of the rear seat.
as a box either end of the front "oddments tray".

They each have their own disadvantages:

wires get pulled out when you fold up the rear seat.
only a very small speaker fits in the space.
reduces the capacity of the tray.

yeah i have mine in the parcel shelf and on original speaker stands in the front dash/ material/bar thing. I also had some 6x9's in the rear 3/4 actually in the body behind the trim. but i didnt have any rear seats...so probly no use to ya.

I got two 4" in the front in those small boxes on the "dashbord"
And two 6x9 in the back on a homemade "shelf" :slayer:

Works perfect! whats the problem whit having Speaker in a Panda? its harder to fit em in a big Audi. :p

i have some 6x9" in the back they work fine but make the parcel shelf sag down a bit and rattle over bumps so I made up some edging to wedge it agaisnt the tail gate when it shuts out of pipe lagging. works find for me!

Steve C,
I have one panda with the speakers in the back on the shelf and the other one with the speaker’s right behind the front seats. This is right where your seatbelt pulls out from the car. I think I fit 5" or so in this place. In my opinion this is the best place for the sound quality. If they are in the far back then you have to have the volume real loud. In the front dash I can’t tell you, but behind the seats seems perfect for me anyway. Just my opinion on the best placement.

Just make your own shelf as i did, its not hard u just need a saw and a big piece of wood.

It gets real sturdy as well!

I would say its better to have the speakers on the shelf then right behind your head, atlest thats my opinion.

The speakers in my 750L are in the rear trim cards, while the speakers in my 45CL are mounted in the sides of the plastic door pockets.

Both have got their original 'Sparkomatic' speakers that were fitted when new. They're a load of crap but I can't be bothered changing them as they are original.

Is also common, as suggested to put in the front, probably easier too.

My 45 CL also has it's original 'Sparkomatic California' Radio/Cassette :worship: It still works, but the quality is appalling and it only picks up Radio 2, but it's original so it's staying. It's mounted in a Fiat holder that fits between the door and the steering column.
