Panda Panda 100HP project (cooperman style!)

Introduction

Right thought I would start a thread as there are a few mods happening to my panda and wanted somewhere to have them all in one place! I have owned my 100HP since 2010 and love it! She gets serviced at fiat evry year and had belts and water pump replaced last year. I wanted to start modding her but not go OTT as been there and done it before! Hopefully you guys like it!
So this is what I have done:

Really happy with the way the car is coming on! The rear end is looking nice and fat, will be looking at getting a silver rear fog light bulb to balance up the lights and looking at spacers the same as Demi has to fill the arches a bit more. All 4 tyres will be getting replaced also for Toyo T1R's as got some cheap front tyres put at the mo and had enough of them!! Lesson learnt!
Ahh, did not know that was yours - would have come to say hello! :) I posted some pics of A-I on the 'wahey' topic but not sure I photographed yours.

I'm enjoying having one again immensely - déjà vu really from a year ago before I sold my first one - once again the only car for maybe 30 years that I find myself getting in every night for a drive just to sample that '100 HP B road third gear 4000 - 7000 magic'. Truly hilarious and addictive.

Couple of other things made me laugh yesterday - petrol light came on and filling it up cost just £36! (our old Disco is around £100) and going out in flip flops by mistake - took them off after filling it up and learned it is the only car I can drive with my big toe alone... :D

I'm picking up a same colour blue 100HP next week. Buyer beware as always.

Hopefully it's everything the dealer says it is or we will have a long drive for nothing. These days, dealers can't afford to miss-sell so it should be ok.

I wont forget to check the A/C controls are working properly along with all the usual stuff on buying any used car.

As said elsewhere, the car I went to see is a dog. It looks great inside and out but, the clutch pedal bites at the floor, no evidence it's had a cam belt since new and a back axle that spent its life on the North Sea tide line.

The pandavan was used to transport my vintage moped the other week, it’s alwasy fun getting it in the back without catching the bumper or the headliner but I’m getting pretty good at it!
I think at some point it needs to be the same colour as the panda!! Haha

Is that a Raliegh or Mobylette. I do like the anodised up-side-down forks. Very R6 they are. ;)

PS. Have you considered fitting a towbar with removable hitch. It should cope with one moped - just about.

What’s the longest time a thread has been dormant before being started again! 🤔😂
Well I seem to have been reunited with a little blue panda! It’s only been a gap of 5 years!! 😂💙
she’s needing some tlc but the repair work had been started by her previous Jay and a massive thank you to him for letting me buy her back! 😁
The previous 2 owners maybe weren’t so kind so a lot of work to do!

Well my first full day back in panda ownership has been highly productive!
Managed to pick up a Abarth interior this morning so that’s a project for the next week or so as the current drivers seat is really worn you can feel the cross bar when you sit on it! 😂🤦🏻‍♂️
I treated him to a snow foam and wash, I have some black trim restorer on order, I managed to do a reset on the radio to unlock it so now that’s working but it’s literally the worst dab radio as it doesn’t even have sat nav.
I connected the fog lights back up as they had been left unconnected when the bumper got strayed, looks like I will need a new passage side inner front wheel liner as the old one is toast.
Things on the list, he will need a new middle exhaust as the flexi is blowing, wheel
Liner, and a seat belt button.
Let the fun begin! 💙😁

Another little job done on the pandavan this weekend, I fitted the Abarth front seats im really happy with them.
You have to swap over the rear bracket from the 500 seat to the panda one to get them to fit, the old drivers seat the padding had gone so you could feel the cross bar, now I am back in confront!
I would say they are only slightly less supportive but really happy with them, now to fit the rear and the next next Job on the list is recondition the front fog lights and the grill screws.

Looking good mate, did you get the rear seats as well?

I've gone the full way and fitted a 595 steering wheel and handbrake lever too, freshens up the interior nicely

The front fog light film on the pandavan was looking abit faded and tied (the film has probably been in there for 9 years so it’s done well!)
I replaced the film got new screws and painted them for extra protection and reconditioned the black trim. Really pleased with how they came out!💙
