Technical Panda 1.2 Eleganza remote stopped working

Hi,
Yesterday my 57reg Panda (73k miles) suddenly lost all battery charge during a 3 hour period between usages. It went so flat that, after failing to start, even the cental locking was not working and the clock needed resetting.
I managed to get it jump started and took it in for checks. The battery checked out as OK and charging, but I replaced it anyway.
Everything seems fine except the remote central locking does not work, I have to turn the key in the doorlock.
The red led on the remote key flashes repeatedly if I press any of the buttons and hold it, so I am assuming the battery is still good.

Any help much appreciated.

Try disconnecting the battery for half hours, as it was jumped this may have caused a few gremlins. Failing that you'll need to got to the dealer to reprogramme it to the car, unless you've the cars code and FES / MES and then you can do it yourself

Well the problem was caused by the alternator - it developed a fault and was draining 3amps from the battery when the engine is off, key removed.
One new alternator later and the car is fine..... but the remote is going to need re-programming by the look of it and of course I only have one fob and no security card........
