Love the vinyl'd one! I'd think about doing it myself if I didn't like the way it came standard :)

With regards to the blue one...doesn't look bad at all!! And for bendy chrome the stuff I used to go round the grille from italy would do that no problem ;) IMO though, Check to see if you could order a new dashboard thingy 'cos if you can't then you may not want to attempt to spray yours incase it goes wrong. Vinyling it might be the better option though it has to be said!

i never even thought of vinyling it.. looks superb i must say.. plus if i get bored i can just pull it off lol...

Think il look into this, get a rough price and see how my girlfriend feels about paying for it lmao

Right im going to contact the sign writer that did my grille and see if he can do that cause it looks ace!.... Oi Ed, im off MSN for now cause it takes to much memory! Anyway, remember the convo we were sayin about colours well im havin this so p*ss off! lol

i would look into vinyl as at least you can remove it relatively easily but i think paint is the way for me as at least i can do it myself that and theres more choice of colours.

do you think it would be easy to do??
If so i wouldnt have started this thread, i would have went ahead and did it.. enamel paint wont work, as the paint has to be flexible, enamel would pick off in a few days.. You wouldnt think it but your dash expands in the heat, and shrinks in the cold..

Il be going for as close to my body colour as possible, like the photoshop i did.. looks great

I think a sign writer would be better, I havent got the patience for doing this kind of stuff. They say dont do a different colour to the body colour for your interior. Keep it all the same otherwise you would be driving round in a car that looks like it has been attacked by primary school kids! lol

lol, although sayin that white could possibly be nice.. but id still go for blue..

shoulda went nd got it priced today when im off but couldnt be bothered, i shall go tomorrow on my lunch break if i have time :)

I think this looks ace i wanna do it (vinyl that is), but in a black car you shouldnt do it bodycolour or it will look crap.
White or or red could look good

maybe purple? Jokes! No F'in way.

lol, purple...

i did a quick photoshop of white there, but it didnt look good.. but saying that, its only a chop. stick on some preoper shinny vinyl nd it would look great IMO..

If you have a theme to your car, stick with it, and if not, get one lol... if you do red dash then your gonna have to have something else done red, or it would look wrong..

i believe foliatecs paint is enamel upon reading their description in which case all you would have to do is mask off spray primer, spray paint, spray laquer done

exactly you should always try and create a theme then stick with it eg you wouldnt go for a black and red theme then put a load of green in as that would just wreck the whole appearance.
