Painting plastic bumpers ?

right, iv got a mk1 punto s, but i want the same bumpers as on an sx, as in they match the bodywork and are not the naff (imo) greyish plastic ones.

My question is are the sx bumpers the same plastic as the punto s bumpers ? in this case i could simply spray the original ones that are on my car ?
i assume for this i would need a special primer ?

OR are the above not true and im going to have to try and find sx bumpers and paint them to match my bodywork ?

if the bumpers are pu unpainted i use ici 212 plastic adhesive, scotch bright (rubbing pad) the bumper, panel wipe, straight in the gun with 212, 2 coats, then on with the colour , body shop will charge 75 plus materials any repairs on top,
