Technical p0235

Hi all,

Have done a search but to no avail.
I have had a p0235 boost pressure fault code.
Aby ideas?, car seems to be running fine although i,m averging 40-45 to the gallon.
I checked the vacuum pipes etc and all seemed ok.
I did an ecu reset but it came back again.
Your thoughts ideas would be welcomed

P0235 = "Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Malfunction". So it would suggest a fault in the wiring or connector to the sensor. Strange though, as you don't have any problems with the car.

Hi,
yeah i was surprised to see the fault logged, the car is going like dog doo doos off a shovel !!
I will check connections to the turbo area?
I was rather hoping it was going to be something obvious like a vacuum pipe but alas no.
Will have a dig around and see if there is anything.
Also is there anywhere you can download "p codes" as a list etc?

Very strange that you are not having any ooompth issues. I had quite a battle with mine lately which turned out to be the small bore pipe going from the back of the engine to the aucutar via the boost valve.

I would check the pipe work very carefully and if you can pull it all off and check
