Technical Overheating seicento :(

I bought a 2001 fiat seicento sporting (arbarth) and it still has a two month warranty from the garage where i bought it. However the engine is overheating and the garage has now closed due to financial reasons.

After driving it for a few miles brown steam billows from the engine the water in the engine coolant boils. The problem is that there is no thermostatt so you cannot tell when this is going to happen.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem could be, and any ideas of how i could sort it, as i am stuck. This is my first car and i am completely clueless.

That will be the head gasket blown Im afraid.

Could be failed waterpump too.

Start with a pressure test first, this has to be done with a garage, they can aso test your coolant for exhaust gas contamination which would point to a HG failure.

Check the radiator fan comes on when the engine is hot/starting to spit water.
