I know my last post of the Fiat Doblo Vs Scooby didn't impress to may people last time but here I go.
Went to Carrow Road last night to watch the under 19's England V Che Rep, left there at about 10 ish and went to Maccy D's (Quarter Pounder & Large Fries, Diet Coke and Crunchie Ice Cream thingy) Anyway, my mate has a brand new Clio 1.2 Sport, nice nippy little car. On the way home (Open Stick Roads) we were overtaking (not like crazy buggaz) when we came to a local ind estate, my mates Clio pooped on the Cinq and left me stuck behind a car waiting for another to pass coming to me. At which point I'm ready to chuck it down a cog (damb 5th gear), I take a glimpse in my rview to see a reflective pork graphics coming up quick, I had to double take cus I never saw any filth car or anything gaining on us, I was then slowly easing out on to the other side. By luck I spotted the porka if not it would of literally been Cinq Vs Mondeo which = not good. At this point I realised my mate was screwed (doing 100mph in a 50mph sort of done it). Luck had it the last ind unit turning was coming up, so I quickly nipped it done a UE and F'd outta there real quick. My mate had been pulled over, by the time he had caught my mate he was in a 40mph doing 40. The policeman then rushed out of his porka wagon waiting for me in the middle of the road waving people through. Only to realise the Cinq had done him. Cutting through the country lanes on the way home, luck had it I have great friends which would never dob. My mate got a warning and the Cinq got away scot free. Just wanted to post this as it was a great buzz at the time. & B4 anyone has a pop about racing on roads we weren't cutting people up or anything.....
