OT - Time has come for my Upgrade... Which phone tho??

Well I've been on the phone and this years deal for me isn't great.... Last years was so good I didn't pay anything other than line rental.... so they wanna change that this year!



Anyways, what phone should I get as that will be either free or really cheap



I really want a good camera with a flash... thats about it I guess.

Nokia N95 or Sony Ericcson K850i then.

Both have 5m-pixel cameras, though the Nokia has a more blackberry type functionality to it too.

I've had the K750i for a year, then upgraded to the K800i, and 18 months on, i was going to get the next in the family, the K850i. However, my mate got an N95 last month, and i was really impressed with it. Also has good mp3 funtionality, which is important to me. What really blew me away was when he plugged it into my widescreen TV, (with the cable that came with it) and showed me the pictures he'd taken with it, and then played some of his mp3's through my tv.

Guess what i'm getting with my upgrade in 3 weeks

i just got my upgrade sorted and i went for the nokia 6500 slide the camera is only 3.2mp compared to the n95 but also comes with tv cable for pics audio and movies its lighter in weight and also the n95 has had software issues and once you start filling up the memory runs really slow because of the hardware on the phone a nokia engineer in the shop at the time said the 6500 is far better then the n95 and less chunky

I've got a N95 never had no software issues. But then again your phone is a very good one at an affordable price.

I had a N70 and it was great and rubbish at the same time..... Had 12 of them in 6months...



I really want a phone that takes good pics, makes phone calls and sends txts

What about the new New Nokia N82, like the N95 but even better. Don't have one myself but I hear it's got all the N95 features and more in a smaller, better package

I will admit the N95 does have one of the best cameras on a phone i've ever owned however its not that good compared to the real thing.

Compare it to a cheap 5mp Fuji Camera and it puts the N95 to shame. However its good enough for everyday things. However i must note, it takes bad pictures at night and distance photos aren't too clear. Close ups are also hampered by the flash making an object appear brilliant white, but i guess you get this with all cameras/phones with flash. Dont ya??

Well I have to take pics in people's lofts as part of my job, so having a camera phone that can do this as a back up would be great!


I also need to get a hands free kit adaptor for my car kit thats already in there.
