OT - MSN Messenger help

I can't sign in to msn messenger at work. I used to be able to but haven't been able to for a few months now.

All I get is this message - "signing in to msn messenger failed because the service is temporarily unavailable.please try again later. 800701f6"

I've tried searching for that number at the end but no luck.

Tried uninstall and reinstalling and changed password but can't log on.

I'm on a LAN Setting at work if that makes any sense!

you might find that the ports that msn uses are blocked on your works firewall to stop you using it at work...like mine did

you could always try web messenger... just logs u in from a web site... it's not as good as in basic.. but you can chat to all ur contacts.
