lots of IT Bods on here so thought i'd ask!
we currently just pay for webspace/pop3 email from a company called 1and1, no real problems with it, but we would ideally like to administer our own email server at somepoint, its been suggested that the easiest way is with mac running os x and just needs to be on an ip address visable to the web somewhere? and has mail server software on it?
I've never used a mac so no idea, about to start trying to read into it, basically it needs to work with outlook.
also another use for it woudl be for laptop users to ftp files to it for remote backups, i.e. their pst's and
