I have a standard one in my '96 SX if it's the same one you need, if you have an aftermarket one with CD & 3.5mm input I'll do you a straight swap.
It was a blanking plate for Sei?
As the 98 Sei handbook says
"SOUND SYSTEM
STANDARD EQUIPMENT
For all versions the system consists of
radio power supply cables,...
the radio should be installed...
SOUND SYSTEM (optional)...
-Stereo radio and cassette...
see specific instruction booklet...
".
Most will have been dealer installed?
An original loom connector may even have been mono although two speakers were installed, there was a thread last week complaining about this.

This is what's in my sporting. I'm pretty sure its the one that came with car. It's a grudig 3101 reverse.

Lol, thanks for the offer but I think I will keep it. It's good to know the car is unlikely to be broken in to for the stereo. No doubt I would forget to remove the face off a fancy new fangle one and come back to a smashed window.
Ask me again in January as I will probably sell the whole car when my insurance runs out as we don't really need two cars now.
