I'm thinking of plasti-dipping my wheels white. I don't normally like white wheels but I've done a photoshop and think it actually looks quite good. Also with it being plastdip I can peel it off should I not like it. I've also 'shopped the calipers red but I'm going to be doing them for definite once I have the chance.

What are other people's opinions?

On my White 100hp they look nice in the darker grey, though am about to swap them for silver Punto Sporting wheels.

On your car I would prefer the white to say black, though it does make it it look slightly slutty. But it's removable.

I would get anthracite but it would clash with the body work. I think the standard silver looks a bit too plain. Black makes the already small wheels look like skateboard wheels.

Slutty white it is then

I personally would go RED:slayer:. I have done mine in black and if I can give you one piece of advice it would be not to use spray tyre shine once they are dipped. I have 2 tone black alloys until I next wash the car(y)

The white looks good mate, may need a white strip or wing mirrors to match it up but go for it!! Thinking abit outside the box how about gold?? (y)

I was gonna fit borbet A's that where plastidipped white as I felt it would work well. Go for it.

White looks good! And plasti dip is made for ppl like us to experiment with. (y)

One peice of advise thou, I do know what I'm talking about when it come to plasti dip, White dip is very thin and like any white struggles with covering other colours. Stock wheels being grey are perfect for white dip. But u have to take extra care when spraying. 1 - thin dip, will run if u go too heavy. 2 - u might need 1 more can on top of what u think it ll take to do all 4, again coz its thin. (y)

It will come out Matte white too.

Also, u might hate me for this, have u considered trying spraying matte white with special plasti dip afterwards with a can of Metalizer or Pearlizer or Glossifier. :D

If u interested let me know i ll hook u up with more info and some videos of how rims look with each effect. ;)

I'm interested definitely, I was going to plastidip anyway just a case of having a weekend free to sort it out

What about a bold colour like orange or something?

:yeahthat:

At least put a photoshop up of some crazy colour for us to cast our opinions on.
I just think white will be impossible to keep clean especially with it been a matt texture.

I've been think about doing mine white.
Did an experiment with green wheels on my silver mx5 but it didn't bond very well in places.

After a spirited blast on the M25 it started to peel, so I think I would use the primer as well.
Problem is finding somewhere with stock of any colour!

In the top one I've done the Panda badge in Italian flag colours which I think looks quite neat. I bought a Panda badge from eBay which I'm going to paint like that as my standard one has started to peel and looks a bit tatty.

As you wish:
