4 x Denso Iridium Spark Plugs!

All from http://www.buypartsby.co.uk/ for the sum of £77!

Sounds pretty good mate,

I'm thinking of getting those same plugs, you'll have to let me know what they are like when you get them.

Maybe post a picture of them (Hint Hint;) )

No bother mate, my camera needs an airing anyway.

They were a good price too, £7.80 exl VAT each with is around £30 the set, other places want over £40 or £50!

Yeah I looked on the site and four plugs come in at about £33 which is the cheapest place I have found that do those plugs, a bargin :)

Cheers mate I look forward to seeing the pics.

Was offered tghe plugs elsewhere for £50 and on another occasion £42 if i could get a group buy together.

Seemed good to wait!

i'm too tired to look for myself, so I wonder if you could be so kind and tell me how much the Sparkies are on their own? :)

So both order went in last Sunday 5th Dec, shop4parts parcel came on Tuesday, just regularservice items so no suprise there, emailed buypartsby today as to the whereabouts of my other parts and they replied that the plugs held up the dispatch and they would be here Tuesday. Not ideal if I was desperate but not to bad either.

Plug pics and performance results to follow.

At the other end of the market, I've just put a set of £11 NGK V groove plugs in the silver one, and it's as sweet as a nut. Admittedly it has just had a head gasket, cam belt and oil change too - but to be honest I can't feel any difference between these and the £20 Eon2's I've just taken out.

So far I've found that changing the plugs only makes a difference if the old ones were due / overdue, but I haven't tried the iridium ones yet - which should last a long time, so will pay for themselves in the long run.

The lasting part is the biggest selling point for me Pete.

I've had Bosch Super 4's - car kangaroo'd everywhere, did 33 miles and chucked them in the garage.

Had Eon's too, good plug IMO.

Had normal NGK's from a motor factors, didn't really like them, seemed to take longer to start, well miliseconds likely! But these were £2.50 for 4! Beat that!

Just got those NGK Silvers in just now, very good too, nothing between them and the Eon's for me.

Have you seen the Platinum Champion ones? £24 I think at Halfrauds.

Parts from Buypartsby didn't come today, will be tomorrow, got an email to say plugs weren't included in the parcel so these have been sent seperatley be recorded post.

Not too impressed, Cinq overhaul is Thursday AM so I'm cutting it close.
