One or 2 Day car insurance

Ok buying a car on sunday and i want to drive it back from scotland but my current insurnace wont cover it so i want to insure the car for 2 days to drive is back to stoke, i have heard of 1 day insurance before but just wondering if anyone knew who does it? which company and any contact numbers for them that would be great?
