I dropped my fiancée off at work this morning and noticed in the reflection of her work window, that a fog light was on (they're turned off) so I pulled up to look, and it was on, also: yesterday someone told me I had one on, I looked and didn't..?

Any help?

They are cornering lights when you turn the steering wheel left to right the fog lights will come on and off, it helps light junctions up etc. Common place on nearly all new cars.

So it's a good feature to leave on? Only had it 2 days, thought maybe a wiring problem and that I'd get pulled for fog lights on / a fog light out by the police.

Leaving it on is safer?

They only work at low speeds it's up to you if you want them on or not, they are quite useful in tight situations on dark side roads and parking up in driveways etc but not much use on main roads

Not all that many, only a hand full to be completely honest.

On some you can't turn them off ;)

They're not operating as fog lamps, so you're not breaking the law, they've been type approved.

It's really one of my favourite features.

I work just on the outskirts of Stafford and my route is mostly unlit country roads and a couple of small tight villages. I like them so much I was considering upgrading them to osram nightbrakers :p

Where as when mine blow I'm not going to bother, but when you've the OEM HID's fitted they are a tad pointless :p

Haha like that is it? Laughing at the "Active" member? :p

The standard headlights on these aren't up to much, I'm considering an aftermarket HID kit and I'm hoping as I have projector headlights this won't be an issue for other motorists..

Don't forget they need to be auto leveling and also need headlamp washers to be fully legal in the UK.
