You may laugh!
The other week I had to get off early (0530) in the freezing weather we have just had. I bought some de-icer that you can spray on the night before and it stops ice forming....a time saving idea I thought.
It was dark, as I approached the car I stubbed my toe on the ground and tripped slightly and the car alarm went off......a bit sensitive I thought and headed back to the house for the keys. By the time I had chatted to the neighbour the alarm had stopped so I went back to spray the windows.
Started on the passenger side window. If you spray at an angle you can get better coverage over the glass so squirt squirt squirt.......the alarm went off again.
I thought my alarm only goes off if there is a fly trapped inside so I went to peer in through the glass....not easy as it's tinted......I was surprised when my head went through the passenger side window.....yes the chuffin kids had left it open when the wife locked up. (In my defence the car was parked in shadows)
There was de-icer on the inside of the windscreen, mirror, dashboard, in the heating vents, on the nav screen, in the RT3 you name it I had covered the inside of the car in the syrupy mess.
I spent ages cleaning the car at 11 at night for the morning........some great time saving idea to spray the night before.
