General oil light problem

Hey after drivin my fiat punto mia 1.2 y reg for about 20 minutes, if i've got the clutch down when stopped a light will come on which is like a pot pouring a drop of oil out, i think thats the oil light, but the oil on the dipstick is around a third of the way up, so anyone any ideas what this light means and why it only comes on when im not in gear?

Any advice much appreciated.
