Technical Oil Light coming on

i was driving yesterday in the snow i hit my brakes and started sliding, my speedo went to 0mph then my oil light came on..
But once i took my foot off the brake and the speedo went back up the light went off..

is this something to worry about?

Simple really.

When the wheels locked, the engine stalled (with the ignition still on it would show the oil light due to no pressure). Once the wheels started turning again, the engine was bump-started into life (as you were still in-gear), oil pressure returned and the light goes out.

Nothing to worry about.

However, learning to cadence brake would be the next stage.
