Technical Oil leak

Hi guys, ive got a slight engine oil leak and i dnt no where its comin from, was just wondering, could i leave the engine on and pressure wash it to clean all the engine bay out and get rid of the oil runnin on components and then when it starts leaking again id be able to tell where it would be comin from or would this kill my engine?

no. cover all components like alternator and spark plugs with bags and seal them. basically all elec components. pressure clean the engine. then start engine up. oh, dont forget to plug the airfilter up.and remove after.

Make sure you run the engine and drive it about a bit after washing to help get any water form the clutch and brakes etc. to prevent them sticking when parked for a while!

what i normally do is take off the airbox on the carb,close up the hole, wash the engine and the after that i use my compressor to blow all the water out of the spark plugs etc.
