No don't be worried. Check the oil every morning, It needs to be around the top of the checked area. When You can, on a weekend, Get it on a ramp, Wipe all traces of oil from the affected area, then wait.... you should, after a while, be able to tell where the oil leak is coming from.
Check the oil filter is screwed in correctly, this is apparently a common prob.
I don't practice what I preach, I have had quite a bad oil leak since day one, I just havent got round to getting the coop on ramps to have a good nosey, and I'll be damned If Im paying a grease monkey £30 and hour for the privelige!!!

i havent noticed myself but i got a phone call when in wales

It's weird really, Sometimes I wake up and have a look on the drive, It's like a supertanker has ran aground out there, Im surprised Greenpiece havent stoned my windows.
Usually, I take a look and its a small puddle, say 30ml of oil.
It's unpredictable, in the finest italian tradition.
Im filling the coop with about half a litre of oil a month, which is what Ive alway's filled it?

if the oil leak isn't bad, don't worry too much. I'd deffinatly recommend you find where it's comming from though, check:
- Sump plug - dodgy garage or DIY may not have changed the washer/plug when servicing
- Oil filter (already mentioned) may not be screwed in correctly
- Gearbox - just in case
- Left and right crankshaft seals (have a tendancy to go) can be expensive to fix.
Is it actually oil? could it be shock absorber leaking, break fluid etc...
Hope you get it fixed soon! Not good when your new toy breaks just after you bought it...
You might be able to get the place you bought it from to do something. When I got my car (second hand, and 7yrs old) I managed to get a new Cat and a few other things fixed within the first few weeks that I had it.
Did you buy a warrenty with the car?

Number of cars is tricky to tell, especially since we have just had front totally re-landscaped. From a 'lets jam as many cars in' point of view, possibly a max of 16 to 18. Unless they were all Cinqs
